Let’s be honest: We have no problem with the fact that we’re being copied by lots of organizations. The opposite is true: The more awareness for the environment, the better. But please, do it the right way! It’s just wrong to exploit environmentalism and use so-called green marketing for commercial purposes!
Unfortunately, not all organizations have purely good intentions. But we at the Green Forest Fund believe in what we do, and what sets us apart from all the others. As environmental pioneers, we have a clear mission: Planting trees for eternity while ensuring the highest climate standards. For nature. And for all of us.

The market for tree planting projects is crowded, and there are many who claim to be doing the right thing. We at the Green Forest Fund care for more than just commercial marketing. And we are proud to be a non-profit organization for the greater good: We don’t care about profits; instead we’re committed to preserving and planting trees and creating nature reserves for many years – out of conviction.
Planting Trees in Germany
Germany needs more space to breathe! We make a direct contribution to climate protection with each tree we plant. Through our projects, we create areas in Germany where trees are not only planted but also protected in order to ensure sustainable and diverse flora.
Trees that Grow Forever
We are committed to ensuring that the trees we plant are allowed to grow forever – without being used for forestry purposes. This means that these trees aren’t used for short-term profit, but remain part of a long-term ecosystem that we are creating with your help.
Transparency Is Top Priority
As a member of Transparency International, we place great emphasis on transparency in all our processes. Don’t be blinded by conventional, technical certifications – they only evaluate internal processes. We guarantee that every planting of a tree is carried out according to high ethical standards from start to finish.
Buying Instead of Leasing
While other organizations only offer protection for 99 years, we make sure that our trees and sites will be protected for all eternity. We can guarantee this, because we purchase our plots, and we don’t lease them like others do. It is our goal to create and preserve unspoiled nature for future generations.
Non-Profit Environmental Pioneer
As a non-profit organization, we rely heavily on your commitment. Every tree we plant, every patch of nature we protect, is a symbol of this cooperation. For this reason, we organize events for all the private persons, companies, schools and universities we collaborate with. Together, we want to change the world for the better – tree by tree. That’s why we made a conscious decision not to exploit nature for the sake of making profits, but to remain the non-profit organization that we are.
Expert Planting for Ideal Tree Growth
We guarantee that all the trees we plant are at least 2–3 years old and 80–120cm tall to ensure the best growth conditions. Our team takes care to ensure that every tree is planted in the best possible way to reach its full potential.
Maximum Biodiversity and Climate Resistance
We plant not only common tree species, but also rare ones. After all, wo focus on the highest possible biodiversity. By developing climate-resistant mixed forests, we create conditions for the trees to withstand the effects of climate change – an important step to achieve a healthy ecosystem.
Comprehensive Protection and Growth
The Green Forest Fund e.V. Follows a comprehensive approach – from the responsible treatment of our sites, which we buy instead of leasing them, to our tracking system, which allows you to keep track of any tree planted and any patch of forest under our protection, to our promise of guaranteed growth. If a tree should fail to take root, we will make sure that it is replanted successfully.
